My name is Chuck Bryant. I am a retired public works inspector. My time is spent in upstate Washington during the summers and San Felipe, Baja, Mexico during the winters. Several years ago, I was looking for a hobby and stumbled across wood turning. After giving it it a try, I was hooked! Turning gives me a creative outlet where I can make things that can be both artistic and useful. Because I have been doing a lot of traveling lately, I have been concentrating more on pen turning. I enjoy turning larger items, but I can’t travel with a full size lathe. Pen turning allows me to continue doing what I enjoy while traveling.
